- The European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN)'s Annual Conference will take place in June in Dublin with the theme of Learning and Sustainability. Bradford is a member of the EDEN network and these conferences usually provide a good forum for discussion and networking.
- ICALT 2011, an IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies will take place in Athens, Georgia, in July. I attended the 2008 Conference in Santander and found it very useful.
- The World Conference mLearn 2011, which addresses mobile and contextual learning will take place at Beijing Normal University in October. I presented a paper at the IEEE WMUTE conference, here, in 2008 based on results from the Vesel project and enjoyed the experience.

MBA with Distinction!
I was delighted to learn that I have been awarded an MBA with Distinction from the University of Bradford's School of Mangement.
A big thanks to everyone that contributed to my MBA programme over the past 30 months or so. The project was an important part of the programme and I'm especially grateful to everyone that contributed to making my project on Technology Enhanced Learning an enjoyable, rewarding and ultimately successful experience.

MBA Dissertation Submitted
I submitted my MBA dissertation on Technology Enhanced Learning to the University of Bradford's Business School at the start of March. This proved to be a timely subject and I'm sure technology will play an increasingly important role in the delivery of HE over the coming years. Nevertheless, my findings also highlighted the importance of face-to-face contact. I'm now looking for a suitable vehicle to publish my main findings.
