Creating a Questionnaire, Diigo and LinkedIn

Over the last couple of weeks, I've been busy putting together a questionnaire that I hope will help cast some light on the question of whether the digital divide between digital natives (students) and digital immigrants (members of staff) actually exist. I expect to release the questionnaire next week. I've also been using Diigo to bookmark my research on technology and its relevance to higher education. I've also found LinkedIn very helpful in connecting with some groups that are addressing Technology Enhanced Learning.

An Introduction to my Project

I am an academic working in the UK's Higher Education Sector. My subject area is telecommunications but at present I am undertaking an MBA programme as part of my professional development. I am now at the stage where I am working on my dissertation, which is considering the impact of incorporating Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) into Higher Education, from both members of staff and students' perspectives. As part of my data collection, I aim to experiment with the use of blogging as a means of gathering views and opinions from the wider Internet community. With this in mind, I plan to post some questions over the next few months and would welcome any contribution that would help me to gain a wider appreciation around the issues surrounding the introduction of TEL into the higher education curricula.
