Three Conferences for your 2011 Diary

This year sees three major international conferences on technology and its role in education:
  1. The European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN)'s Annual Conference will take place in June in Dublin with the theme of Learning and Sustainability. Bradford is a member of the EDEN network and these conferences usually provide a good forum for discussion and networking.
  2. ICALT 2011, an IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies will take place in Athens, Georgia, in July. I attended the 2008 Conference in Santander and found it very useful.
  3. The World Conference mLearn 2011, which addresses mobile and contextual learning will take place at Beijing Normal University in October. I presented a paper at the IEEE WMUTE conference, here, in 2008 based on results from the Vesel project and enjoyed the experience.
